Overview

Younger brother Martin shares his excitement about learning to pedal his tricycle. Throughout the story Martin shares the value of friendship not only between siblings but also with others. In addition to the theme of friendship, the book has an implicit theme of Childhood Apraxia of Speech. This book continues two years after "hi, My nAMe is MiLes" , and four years after "hi, My nAMe is MiLLy" ended. Each of the books in the "hi, My nAme is" series are written to standalone. However the progression of Malcom's recovery becomes more apparent when read together.

Heather Zeissler graduated from the University of Minnesota, Duluth, with Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Accounting degrees. Zeissler has served on several non-profit advisory and executive boards. Most importantly, she is a parent of a child diagnosed with Childhood Apraxia of Speech. Malcolm's journey continues in the next book currently under development by Zeissler.
