Overview

This is a collection of queer poetry, about the author's experiences being queer in a variety of ways,
the way those modes of being interact with each other, and the feelings that come out of them.
Many of the poems presented here are about specific people in the author's life, and about how the
ways she knows herself and has learned more about herself after coming out has changed the ways
she experiences those people and her relationships with them.

Content Warning: A few of the poems in here are written with mature (18+) content, each of which
are marked with a [18+] note in the Contents section in the front of the book. In addition, many of
the poems deal with queerphobia, intolerance, trauma, and other subjects that may be difficult for
some readers, so please be careful when reading this book, and if reading out loud, please be mindful
of your audience.

About the Author

Amadea Longo is a mysterious yet mostly approachable faerie queen living in Ypsilanti, Michigan,
and she wishes only for a pale of goat milk to be brought to her apartment-shaped court amid the
concrete and goose droppings. After earning a mortal philosophy degree, she realized that she actually
kind of hated herself, and decided to change it all up so she wouldn't do such silly things anymore.
Her hobbies include being manically gay, watching mystery shows, and watching her friends completely
fail at the puzzles she designs for their TTRPG games, at least when she's not staring at passersby when
the moon is half-full and the stillness of the night air weaves her words of silken seduction into their
unwary ears.
