Heidi Herman has written six books in four genres and each has a bit of her Icelandic heritage blended in with the story. She enjoys writing children's folklore, but her true love is novels with complex characters and women who triumph in life. She considers herself a 'second-generation life adventurer' committed to living every day to the fullest through traveling, cooking, and a wide host of hobbies. She spends much of her time with her husband and their three dogs, between South Dakota and Arizona.
