About the Author

An artist at heart, Noa Sanaa has already tapped into the creative world through acting, singing, writing and dance. An amazingly talented teen leader, poet, and emerging spoken word artist, Noa Sanaa is no stranger to the spotlight. She began commanding the stage at the age of 2 and spent her younger years in praise dance ministry. She was also cast in the role of Rafiki in the musical The Lion King Jr. Noa Sanaa has even gone viral and was featured on the TV Show Right This Minute for her heartwarming reaction to being surprised with a trip to Disneyland.

Noa Sanaa made her spoken word debut in the summer of 2022 at Camp Nia, a performing arts camp for young girls. She went on to perform at the Sisters of Nia Annual Youth Leadership Conference, where one of her most treasured pieces, My Future My Life was inspired. Blazing new trails, Noa Sanaa was featured as the youngest performer in 2023 San Joaquin Delta College Black History Month Talent Show and is currently the youngest member of the 2023 SAYS (Sacramento Area Youth Speaks) Teen Poetry Slam Team.

A model student, Noa Sanaa was recently awarded the honor of Valedictorian of her promoting 8th grade class. Her commencement speech titled Tomorrow showcased Noa Sanaa’s gifted writing and public speaking skills, while her sweet and pleasant disposition moved the hearts of everyone in the room.

Noa Sanaa is a native of Northern California. When she is not performing for various community and church events in the Sacramento and East Bay Area regions, she enjoys the outdoors, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends.
