About the Author

Sally Coveleskie is a consultant for Steinway & Sons. She is grateful her parents' vision included piano lessons at an early age, which shaped her life's path as a music teacher and Steinway executive. Peter Goodrich, who was the only boy in his piano class in Yarmouth, Maine, lives with his wife, Veronica, in Charleston, South Carolina. Prior to retirement he was an executive with Steinway & Sons. Laura Friedman is a painter and sculptor who has worked for many years in natural history museums making dioramas, models, and murals.
