Overview

Helping Hats seeks to open eyes and hearts of young readers as they learn about community helpers, our heroes, that affect our everyday lives. This sweet, fun and interactive book has the "helpers" in alphabetical order. They follow Dan and his cute, canine pal as Dan wears the various hats and winsomely explores the different jobs.

At the end of each story, kids (ages 4-8) are encouraged to be grateful for their hard work and appreciate all of our heroes!

About the Author

Hello and thank you for visiting my bio page. I am a youthful grandmother of 11 inquisitive and active grandchildren and decided a while back to write a children's book. This is my first published book and it has been a learning experience for sure!

Appreciation for people who help us is so important and somewhat rare these days. I wanted to write a book about diverse community helpers, who can be our heroes and that wear hats while performing their jobs. I hope the young readers enjoy and grow from learning about the different jobs and also being motivated to be grateful.
