Hebrews Commentary
The book of Hebrews in the New Testament is one of the greatest pieces of writing in the history of Man. The author deals with several key elements of existence in this world while relating this earthly life to the hope of eternal life offered through belief in the Savior, Jesus Christ. There is no greater exposition transitioning from obedience to the Law and heeding the words of all Old Testament prophets to the New Covenant concept of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, believing in His sacrifice that paid the final price for Sin. The spiritual freedom that comes to believers in the midst of the suffering, Godly discipline, and tribulations experienced in this world is dealt with perfectly by the author of this text. Christ's exaltation as Savior, Son of God, and only true Mediator between Man and God is expressed in wonderful language from the first chapter, through the middle description, to the final encouragements based on past examples of faith. These pearls of spiritual wisdom, combined with the tightness of this writing tying it all together, allows the treatise to stand alone as a perfect example revealing the true nature of Christ's gospel of Grace and the true fellowship of believers. This present work seeks to elucidate every aspect of the truths put forth by the original author. Since great works of prose commentary on Hebrews already exist, this work seeks to approach the ideas, beliefs, and revelations from a different perspective--a commentary written in classical, rhyming verse using the author's own original stanza form.
