About the Author

Books have forever been a part of my life but it wasn't until I was eleven that my love of books turned to borderline obsession. In Jr. High I would read my books under my desk in History class hoping the teacher wouldn't notice, she did.

In high school I made the mistake of putting my love of books aside to pursue a "realistic" career. As I pursued these "realistic" and "practical" fields writing was still on my mind. I would write in my free time whenever I felt inspired and had the notion in my head that one day I would take on writing full time. Until then I would just write a page here and there. Then one night I confessed out loud what I'd been too scared to admit for fifteen years. "I want to be writer."

Overnight, and without meaning to, my life changed. There's no going back. I know now, I am a writer, always have been.
