About the Author

Alyssa Avicolli is a Second Generation Italian-American, born and raised in Syracuse, New York. She graduated First Generation with an Undergraduate Degree in Communications from University at Buffalo in 2022, and still resides in Buffalo today. With a love for writing since she could put a pen between her fingers and a bleeding heart, Avicolli evolved her journal scribblings into lyrical poetry. She wrote her first collection of poetry, Heartbreaks and Childhood Keepsakes from the ages of 19 to 22.
