About the Author

Her fascination with books started with the stories of magic and dragons from early in Tori's life. Now as an English student at BYU, Tori finds that there is beauty and empathy in the stories all around us. Healing Blood is Tori's debut novel, excluding the many illustrated books from her elementary school days. A true Seattle lover, her perfect day consists of lots of rain, hot chocolate, and books by the fire. After living in French Polynesia for a few years, Tori speaks French and Tahitian fluently. Her time there also resulted in a deep love for taro ice cream and the Tahitian people (ua here 'au ia outou).
