He was, however, the first human to truly love another in a brutal and reptilian world where men shared their women and companionship was nothing more than a means to survival.

She placed a curse on him to never die and to lose any woman that he would ever come to love once a certain amount of time had passed. It is now modern-day, and Cain has only days to finally figure out how to break his curse before he must suffer the heartache of losing yet another woman that he loves.
