The novel "H.B.'s Big Heist" follows Jack Winner as he continues working in the EMS and prepares to marry his fiancée, Melanie Straight. Their last Christmas was spent in Jem City Park, where Jack proposed to her. Recently, Melanie graduated from Physical Therapy School and celebrated at the Alley Burger Entertainment Center.
Jack Winner and Mike Alony have been EMT ambulance partners for some time, saving lives as a well-coordinated team. Captain Jim Hawker inspires all at the Jem City Ambulance Base. They provide critical care for patients in rehabs, dialysis clinics, and doctor visits at various hospitals. Ambulance 55 is the team on the scene during fire rescue and crime scene stand-by for Emergency 911 calls.
Jack and Mike were close with the Jem City Detectives, Glen Delayo and Brian Lehman. Detective Brian Lehman, who was single, asked out Deidra Straight, the head nurse at the Jem City Hospital Emergency Room. Despite Deidra's late husband, John, who was murdered in a home invasion a year before, they continued to date.

One thing led to another as the Head Bangers hooked up with Jermane and his people, who specialized in complicated heists and prostitution. Strategically, they planned a major robbery in a bank downtown. It was the perfect heist; they would make millions—if they pulled it off!
