Harry Potter Places Book Three includes twelve UK Potter Places that can be found west of London.

The first Snitch-Seeking site, Picket Post Close in Martins Heron (Site #24)-- aka the Dursley's #4 Privet Drive home--is a Great Site Side-Along Apparation from Harry Potter Places Book One, repeated here for Potterites who are driving to Potter Places outside of London. This entry includes information not found in Book One, such as local lodging options and SatNav/GPS driving coordinates.

Two Snitch-Seeking Sites Each Deserve a Double-Great-Site Rating!

Gloucester Cathedral (Site #39) and Lacock Village & Abbey (Site #40) are loaded with recognizable Harry Potter film sites. Armed with HPP Book Three, you'll not miss a single screenshot reproduction opportunity in either of these marvelous locations, and you'll learn how to debunk several popularly-promoted myths about Lacock Abbey filming.

While the Forest of Dean (Site #37) isn't much of a film site, it's a Potterly Important Place.
Rowling frequently wandered through this forest when she lived in the village of Tutshill (see Site #41). Thus it comes as no surprise that one of the most important Deathly Hallows camping locations--all of Chapter 19: The Silver Doe--is set within the Forest of Dean.

Snitch-Seeking Chapter 13--J.K. Rowling Childhood Haunts & Severn Bridge (Site #41)--is a collection of places in England and Wales associated with JKR's pre-Potter life, such as her once-Unplottable birthplace (we found it!), her childhood homes and schools. A very brief Deathly Hallows Part One film site found beneath a bridge that connects England with Wales is also included. Why? Because that bridge lies on the route between two JKR Childhood Haunts areas. Site #41's chapter contains a whopping 11 Snitch-Seeking locations, but this collection counts as only one of the sixty-eight UK Potter Places.

Going to Snitch-Seeking Sites in Southern England and Wales: Our Snitch-Seeking Site Entries provide all the information needed to make your holiday itinerary decisions and plot your course to the Harry Potter Places you plan to visit.

This is the ONLY travel guidebook you'll need to purchase in order to plan and enjoy the most Potterly perfect Southern England and Wales visit! No other single source on the planet--no Internet website or previously published guidebook--provides as much Potterly important information in one place.

Even if you're not yet ready to embark upon a UK Potter trip, each of the Harry Potter Places travel guidebooks are FUN to read! Nowhere else will you find so much interesting information about each and every individual Potter Place.
