For my husband Robert and I, it was the innate desire to explore our world, escape the rat race and cold winters, while living a truly unique lifestyle. A romantic dream enticed us to sail to warm, secluded beaches in the tropics to spend time swimming, snorkeling, and diving in aquarium-like settings, partaking of nature in its least corrupted arena. The ingenuity, perseverance, and hard work that was required by both of us to keep the dream alive and the ship in running shape, bred a mutual respect and trust that generated love and strengthened our relationship.
