About the Author

Jennifer Ann Powers was born and raised in Tolland, Connecticut. She lived briefly in Pennsylvania, eventually returning to Connecticut where she now resides.

Jennifer graduated Tolland High School in 1996 and the University of Connecticut in 2002 with a BA in English. She is returning to school this fall for her MFA in Creative & Professional Writing at Western Connecticut State University.

Her short story "Some of Us" is forthcoming in The MacGuffin literary magazine for spring/summer 2012, "Rabbit Girl" is forthcoming in Folio literary journal for spring 2012, and "Sacrifice" is published in Foliate Oak literary magazine.
