Bel Olid (Mataró, 1977) es escritora, traductora y profesora de literatura y escritura. Mantiene una intensa actividad como traductora al catalán y, en menor medida, también en castellano, principalmente de obras de literatura infantil. Ha traducido del alemán, el inglés, el francés, el italiano y el castellano. Como autora se da a conocer en 2010 gracias al Premio Documenta por la novela Una tierra solitaria, y al Premio Rovelló de ensayo por el trabajo Las heroínas contraatacan.

 Bel Olid (Mataró, 1977) is a writer, translator and professor of literature and writing. She primarily translates to Catalan and some Castellan for children’s literature. She has translated from German, English, French, Italian and Castellan. As a writer she found success in 2010 with the Documenta Award for her novel, Una tierra solitaria. She also took home the Rovelló Award for her work, Las heroínas contraatacan.
