About the Author

CL Gammon has had a life-long fascination with the written word. This fascination has led to his authoring more than sixty books. Over the years, Gammon, who studied Political Science at Tennessee Technological University and History and Government at Hillsdale College, has been the recipient of several prestigious honors and awards. Some of the honors he has received are the Certificate of Appreciation for Service to the State of Tennessee, the Partisan Prohibition Historical Society Citation of Merit (the only two-time recipient), and nomination for the 2023 Gilder Lehrman Lincoln Prize. Several universities, including the State University of New York and the University of Akron, have utilized his books as course material.
Articles written by Gammon have appeared in more than a dozen national and regional publications. He has also written feature articles for his hometown newspaper, The Macon County Times. CL Gammon lives in Lafayette, Tennessee.
