Thomas Kneeland is the author of five books, all self-published: Shades of Gold,
Uncaged, Stop F*cking Killing Us (1st & 2nd Ed.), and Guardian.
His fourth book, Stop F*cking Killing Us, 2nd Edition, has been named
#1 Best New Release in African Poetry, and #2 Best Seller on Amazon.
A prolific writer and thinker, Kneeland has commissioned poems for the
Indianapolis Arts Council for March Madness, where his poem “A dream, uncaged”
can be seen while downtown in Indianapolis on Georgia Street.
Thomas Kneeland has contributed to Up the Staircase Quarterly, High Shelf Press,
Black Lives Matter, Nickel Plate Arts, and INverse Poetry Archives, which was created
by former Indiana Poet Laureate, Adrian Matejka, in partnership with the Indiana State Library.
He is currently the Founder & Executive Director of The Kneeland Center for Poetry, Inc.,
Editor-in-Chief of The Elevation Review, a board member of the Fishers Arts Council,
an English Teacher, and a Master of Fine Arts Candidate at Butler University,
where he studies the craft and passion of poetry.
