Overview

Since the beginning of their friendship, Cara and David have been as thick as thieves, but on one unfortunate day, they become nothing more than strangers.
A chance meeting many years later leaves the two yearning to reconcile and become closer once again. As one heals from devastating heartache, the other hopes for something more than just casual hugs and childish banter.
Will the one who had her heart broken so brutally be able to open it up to love again? Will the one who buried his feelings long ago still be successful in doing so?
This is the story of Cara and David. The two best friends meet again many years later after cutting contact. As Cara tries to heal her broken heart, wary of the very idea of love, she can't help but keep her heart caged in fear. While Dave, happy to have his best friend back in his life, continues to bury the feelings that, even after many years, are still as strong as ever.
