Growth in Grace: Thorugh Reason and Revelation
Right away, I must state emphatically that this book alone will not bring you into harmony with God, man and the universe—Growing in Grace. At the same time, I am sure that it offers some new slants on life, ideas that might have escaped your attention up until now. For instance, I deal with the Crucifixion, Resurrection, and Ascension in this volume, along with other posers—questions that most of us have about our Christian tenets and heritage. Also, you will find some different ideas about prayer—how to successfully pray and know that your prayers are being answered.
There are personal characteristics that impede one’s progress within the four major quadrants of human life when we do not take note of the need to change some of these traits. The four major quadrants to which we refer are health, wealth, work and love.
However, unless, we courageously face and master both existential stimuli (outside forces) and internal stimuli (petty habits and puny motives that hold us back from complete and total harmony) we are apt to regress. We are apt to fall back upon those people, places, things and ideas that hold no positive payoff for us.
This is not a “finger-pointing" volume. Nor is it "preachy" in its approach to those very real positions, situations and conditions that you and I face on almost an hourly basis within our lives. The contrary is more correct. This little volume identifies the "little foxes" which would uproot the wheat of our effort, and the "tares" that prohibit the wheat from growing and coming to full fruitage.
