Overview

It's 2012, a century after the Titanic disaster. America's individual freedoms are under attack by its Marxist government. Christianity is scorned by America's elite universities. The University of Notre Dame has severed its ties to the Church in the name of Academic Freedom. It disdains its critics and scatters scandal. Alumni, students and others rally to restore the university's Catholic mission and traditions. About the Author

Peter K. Connolly attended the University of Notre Dame, Stonehill College, and Marquette University, earning undergraduate and graduate degrees in journalism. He served four years with the U.S. Marine Corps and retired in 1992 from General Dynamics as Corporate Director of Public Affairs. He has been a columnist, writer for the National League St. Louis baseball Cardinals and magazine contributor. He authored The Last Slider in 2004, When Shadows Fell at Notre Dame in 2007 and Grottogate in 2010. He is currently working on a fourth novel set on the East Coast during WWII years. Connolly lives in rural Missouri and can be reached at .
