JANEY SINCLAIR's mission was supposed to be simple: use her mysteriously-gained ability to teleport, along with her martial arts skills and a suit of stolen military body armor, to prevent the people of Atlanta from suffering the same kind of pain and tragedy that haunt her own life. That mission has grown more complicated, however, thanks to the young man who's found his way into Janey's heart. For the first time since her husband was brutally taken from her, Janey has fallen in love - a love put almost immediately into grave danger.
Because the hideous, terrifying abomination known as APHRODITE LUPO has set her sights on the Gray Widow. More powerful and lethal than anyone or anything Janey has ever faced, if Aphrodite can't recruit Janey to her twisted cause...she'll take her off the field for good.
