As well as being an accomplished novelist, with two mysteries published in two years, Betsy Struthers is a poet; her third collection of poems, Running Out of Time, has been named runner-up for the Milton Acorn People's Poetry Award. Readers of Struthers' mysteries will enjoy the poet's care with language, and her ability to bring locales and characters to vivid life. Betsy Struthers is currently plotting the third Rosalie Cairns adventure.
Peterborough poet Betsy Struthers has published eight books of poetry and three novels, including the poetry volume Saying So Out Loud, and the novel Found: A Body. Her poems have appeared in many anthologies and journals in Canada, the U.S.A. and Australia. She is active in the League of Canadian Poets, serving as coordinator of the Feminist Caucus.
