About the Author

Tom Stein is a Colonel (retired) in the US Army Medical Corps as well as a retired civilian Emergency Physician.
He is a graduate of Purdue University and received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Pennsylvania State University. Stein served over thirty-eight years in the Army and Army Reserves. He has always had a keen interest in World War II, especially the European Theater of Operations. Stein lives in Pittsburgh with his wife, Janet. Gratitude Is Not Enough is his first book.
