About the Author

Carlos is a retired Navy Chief Warrant Officer who served for thirty years. Brenda is a retired Navy Chaplain who served over twenty-six years of naval service. They reside in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Their grandson, Isaiah, is now seventeen years old and resides with his mom in Atlanta, Georgia.
