About the Author

Harvis Satcher was born and raised in Vossburg, Mississippi, and currently resides in Landover, Maryland. He grew up in a family of twelve, which included eight boys and four girls. His twin brother, Marvis, is a gospel minister. In their own way, each one of them spread the gospel. Harvis does it by writing gospel songs, and his brother does it with ministry.

Harvis worked for the U.S. Government for thirty-six years and is now retired. He has five children: Harvis Jr., Jeannette, Annie Joyce, Irma Jean, and Barbara Ann.
