About the Author

Disha Mudulodu is an Occupational Therapist and a Sunday school teacher in Atlanta, GA. She teaches in her class about the power of the mind. She grew up following the teachings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba who teaches us that “mind control is life control.” The concept of good monkey and bad monkey was developed by the idea that our minds are a never ending bundles of desires. Monkeys are known to have an hyperactive characteristics, who often run out of control and damage properties if let loose. However, if you tame them and train them to perform like their trainers often do, they are capable of producing a beautiful show. Many times we escape from taking responsibilities for our own actions by assuming, we are not able to control how we act. But the truth is that we always have the opportunity to choose our actions by being mindful of our Good monkey and Bad monkey and weighing their options before acting on it.
