About the Author

When not writing stories for children, Giles Milton  writes history books for adults. And when he's not writing history, he's probably working on a novel.  He is the author of Nathaniel's Nutmeg, which was serialized by BBC Radio.

Alexandra Milton was born in Paris, where she studied art and English. She draws inspiration from her father and grandfather, both distinguished artists from Germany. Alexandra worked as an elementary school teacher before becoming a full-time illustrator. Both authors live in London.
