Overview

Louisa Jane returns to the mission, after Stand Tall's burial, where she finds Matilda Kingston ill with yellow fever. Her journey to the capital has to be delayed while she sees after Matilda and tries to find out what has happened to Matilda's husband, Reverend Kingston?
It will be late spring before she with Little Crow began a journey to speak to the governor about her Chahta family and to register freedom papers for Little Crow.

Sherry Scott is a published Author and a great story teller. Her accomplishments include Abandoned and Paper Flowers. The history of her family has always been important to Sherry and has inspired many stories not yet told. Her passion and inspiration for writing comes from stories that have been handed down throughout previous generations. She is a mother of four, a grandmother of nine, and a great-grandmother of one.
