About the Author

Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Roberts Liardon is a leading Protestant church historian. He founded Roberts Liardon Ministries, along with Embassy Christian Center, Embassy Ministerial Association, Spirit Life Bible College, and Operation 500. He also founded the Reformers and Revivalists Historical Museum.
At seventeen, Liardon published his first book, I Saw Heaven, which sold over 1.5 million copies and catapulted him into the public eye. To date, Liardon’s books, including the God’s Generals series, have sold over 15 million copies worldwide and have been translated into more than sixty languages. Liardon’s DVD series God’s Generals became one of the bestselling Christian DVD series in history.
Having ministered in over 125 countries to members of the public and to world leaders, Liardon is also recognized internationally. In addition to being an author and a church historian, he is a public speaker, a spiritual leader, and a humanitarian. Liardon continues to manage and expand his international headquarters in Sarasota, Florida, and his office in London, England.
 
Dr. Roberts Liardon is an author, public speaker, spiritual leader, church historian, and humanitarian. He was called into the ministry at a very young age, preaching his first public sermon at the age of thirteen and lecturing on “God’s Generals” in Christian colleges and universities at age fifteen.

From age sixteen, he has utilized every platform to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, bring maturity to the church, and encourage those in ministry. He has produced radio, television, and Internet programs, and has also authored more than eighty books, which have been translated into over sixty languages and to date have sold 16.5 million copies.

Dr. Liardon has established many churches and accredited Bible schools and is now building Embassy International Church in Orlando, Florida, an apostolic center to serve his community and the nations. Reinhard Bonnke (1940–2019) was principally known for his Great Gospel Crusades throughout Africa. The son of a German pastor, Reinhard surrendered his life to Christ at age nine and heard the call to the African mission field before he was a teenager. He attended Bible college in Wales and was ordained in Germany where he and his wife, Anni, pastored a small church until 1967 when, in obedience to Reinhard’s childhood call, they embarked on missionary life in Africa in the small mountain kingdom of Lesotho. When, in 1974, the Holy Spirit spoke to Reinhard in a recurring dream about “a blood-washed Africa,” he founded Christ for All Nations, becoming the inspiring visionary who always spoke of “plundering hell to populate heaven,” a dedicated preacher who saw “signs following” as the necessary evidence of the power of the gospel to save, heal, and deliver. To date, Christ for All Nations has recorded more than eighty-two million documented decisions for Jesus Christ. Reinhard also authored numerous books, including Raised from the Dead, Daily Fire Devotional, Faith: The Link with God’s Power, and Hell Empty, Heaven Full. In addition, he spent several years developing the Full Flame Film Series, eight inspirational films aimed at inspiring and challenging the church to Holy Spirit evangelism.
