Overview

Don't miss the start of a new series by Hugo Award nominee Zoë Quinn and Spider-Gwen co-creator Robbi Rodriguez! Cassandra Price's life changes forever when she discovers a hidden digital world beneath our own, one where a group of super-powered women are locked in a secret war for the cheat codes to reality.

In a future not too far removed from our own, an all-powerful artificial intelligence called Azoth provides for all of humanity's needs. Using implanted nanotechnology, Azoth's omnipresent parent company Hermeticorp taps directly into the minds of the population, reading their every thought and satisfying their every desire—but not for free.

No one knows Azoth's true cost better than Cassandra Price, whose low-level tech support job at the company her father founded provides a gutter-level view of the deepening inequality and social atomization that Hermeticorp has wrought.

But even with her unique familial connection to the software that runs the world, there's nothing Cassandra can do to change it—until the day that she gets sucked into the real Azoth and discovers the Oracles, a band of magical women fighting for much higher stakes than high scores or premium content.

In this virtual realm of mayhem and metadata, the Oracles' war against an unstoppable horde of digital daemons has real-life (and death) consequences. Can Cassandra survive long enough to reveal the true nature of Azoth? Or will she and her fellow Oracles get deplatformed—permanently?

Hugo Award nominee Zoë Quinn and Spider-Gwen co-creator Robbi Rodriguez join forces to deliver the greatest cyberpunk saga of our age with Goddess Mode, collecting all six issues of the acclaimed DC Vertigo miniseries.
