A voice in the ether, a shadowed figure stands among fire and brimstone and softly whispers, "Come home, Royce." Yet when he awakens from his dream, Royce Wilko is met not by a shadow, but rather Dr. Atticus Cais. He has been the victim of an awful tragedy, the sole survivor of a car wreck that has claimed the lives of his entire family and left him in an induced coma for the past two years. After gaining his bearings on this new chaotic reality, Royce must adjust to life under Dr. Cais' care as he undergoes mental and physical rehabilitation, but all isn't as it seems within the confines of this facility. There's an evil lurking in the shadows, and the longer Royce finds himself trapped within the walls of the rehabilitation center, the stronger his conviction to solve its mysteries and true purpose become. Who is Atticus Cais really and what are his plans? Where is the voice in Royce's head coming from and when will he identify the shadowed figure from his nightmares? Most importantly though... why won't Atticus let Royce leave?
