Every Step of an Encounter: Approach, Attack, Abduction

First, how kids can recognize and avoid dangerous situations or a hostile encounter to begin with. How you can teach and prepare your child. How to run, where to hide, safe zones, what to do and how to use readily available tools like a backpack, a jacket or bicycle to help protect themselves or create a means to escape danger.
Next, if the child is grabbed or attacked, how to instantly respond to the danger or the attack and free themselves from an attacker long enough to escape, and where to escape to. Next,if escape is not possible, Kids Fighting Chance teaches them how to prevent being put into a vehicle and how use the escape techniques to, once again, get away. Next, if forced into a vehicle, multiple ways to immediately stop the transport, bring attention to the scene and how to escape from that vehicle. EVEN if forced into the trunk of a vehicle.

About the Author

Rick Seid, Founder / Developer of FIGHTING CHANCE and a father of two, has 20 years experience training and instructing real life self-defense fighting courses to women, children, senior citizens, security and police personnel from all the major U.S. agencies. Additionally, Rick has taught many special training courses to a variety of specific groups such as United Airlines flight attendants and law enforcement officers and personnel from both the United States and Canada.
