About the Author

Sari Trompke is the Manager of Training and Development at Bigelow Tea. Throughout her adult life, she has devoted her spare time to helping her children and dozens of other students and families master the complex college admissions and recruiting process. Sari grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. As a young woman man she headed west to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the financial services industry, where she earned a management position at the age of twenty-one. While in Los Angeles, she met and married her husband, Ron. They have four wonderful children, Rachel, Jordan, David, and Alex. When her children were in their teens, Sari volunteered at her children’s school where she oversaw the speech and debate program. She also assisted with the football, basketball, track and field, and the swim teams as a president and/or team mom. It was during this period that Sari discovered her passion for mastering the college admissions planning process. She now shares her extensive expertise in this area with children and families around the country. Today, Sari Trompke and her husband Ron reside in Eagle, Idaho. They have been happily married for over thirty years.
