This book is meant for those that want to separate themselves from the pack. This book is for those that are tired of receiving form rejection letters or no letter whatsoever after applying for jobs. These are for those people that want to secure an internship and/or employment while in school and after they have completed their course of study. This is for those individuals that try and try some more only to fail time again and again. Furthermore, this book is meant for anyone and everyone interested in a position in athletics. This is a book that tells you what not to do when looking for a job. There are some traits and things that people do out of routine, habit or what someone has told them that absolutely draws my ire and that of other decision-makers. I want you to not do certain things. Here is why you need this book. Career services and career coaches generally don't have any knowledge of how to get a job in sports. They can help you with resumes, cover letter and searches. They might be able to help you land a coveted stockbroker or insurance agent job. However, I seriously doubt they can get you a basketball operations job. I don't know if they can get your foot in the door.
