Diego Fiorito was born in 1972 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He studied Economics at the Universidad Catolica Argentina, completed his studies with a Postgraduate Degree in Finance at the Universidad de San Andrés and an M.B.A. at Hult International Business School, in Boston, United States. Additionally, he complemented his academic training with the international certifications CFA, FRM, ISO 22 301 and ISO 31 000.
In Argentina, he worked at Scotiabank, BankBoston and HSBC; Abroad, he worked at the international foreign trade and development banks Bladex and CABEI respectively. Advised GDF Suez Energy and the Government of Panama on the financial strategy of the Bahía Las Minas project.
He developed his profession in the financial system in various topics such as comprehensive risk management, Asset & Investment Management, asset and liability management, treasury, investments, market risk, credit risk, portfolio management and as a trader of public securities.
He participated as an exhibitor in various international risk events in Panama, Honduras, Guatemala and the Dominican Republic.
He lived in the United States, Panama and Honduras. He was always immersed in multicultural environments, which has given him different perspectives and experiences.
He has written three books: The Opportunity to Change, Risk management: how to achieve personal and business goals and The Plot of the Fight Against Poverty.
