Overview

Georgia is a fertile ground for exploring and learning more about plants and animals, whether it be a dazzling songbird like Painted Bunting, the state reptile (Gopher Tortoise), an iconic mammal like the bobcat, or the state tree (Cherokee Rose). With varied topography and several unique ecoregions, including forested mountains, river floodplains, coastal lowlands, and multiple aquatic habitats, Georgia is one of the most biodiverse states in the US. To better acquaint you with the rich natural history of the Peach State, we have packaged together three portable references—Birds, Trees & Wildflowers, and Wildlife—in an attractive acetate bag. Each guide features beautiful illustrations of over 100 common species, as well as an ecoregion map showing top bird-finding, botanical, or wildlife-viewing hotspots. Laminated for durability, these lightweight, 12-panel folding pocket guides comprise a terrific three-pack for educators, learners, naturalists, birders, botanists, and wildlife enthusiasts who wish to develop a deeper understanding of Georgia’s life forms and peer more closely into their fascinating lives. Made in the USA.
