About the Author

Richard Worth, a Connecticut-based writer, is the author of more than fifty books for young adults. These include biographies, histories, books on current events, and family living. He is a collector of American Impressionist paintings by Connecticut artists from the Old Lyme School. His interest in George Catlin grew out of books that he has written on the Apache Indians and America’s Manifest Destiny.
