Futility: The Wreck of the Titan

Overview

One of the best known and the most astounding coincidences in the Titanic legend is the novella Futility, published in 1898 (fourteen years before the actual Titanic disaster). Robertson describes a ship that is the "largest craft afloat and the greatest works of men." It sets sail on it's maiden voyage in April, meeting its subsequent end through collision with an iceberg. Also includes the short story, Beyond the Spectrum.
