Editorial Reviews

Several new frontiers in particle physics are discussed in these proceedings of the August 1994 school, including the new energy range in deep-inelastic electron-proton scattering, and the first results from the H1 and Zeus experiments. The satellite experiments are analyzed for their theoretical relevance and for new possibilities for exploring the links between astrophysics, cosmology, and particle physics. Much attention is given to the latest results from the TEVATRON (Fermilab, USA), showing further evidence for the long awaited top quark. A series of pedagogical lectures on conformal field theories reviews the important developments in that domain over the last couple of years.
