About the Author

Anne has had a life-long interest in history and the religions of the world. This led to studying both topics for her first Degree and later for her Doctorate.

For many years she was Adviser in Inter Religious Relations with the Church of England. She was also Vice Moderator of the World Council of Churches in Geneva and has sat on numerous advisory bodies for Inter Religious Relations.

For several years she co-organised a Youth Exchange Programme for young Jews, Christians and Muslims between Jerusalem and East London and in recognition of her work in inter-religious relations was made a Lay Canon of Chelmsford Cathedral.

She is a Visiting Lecturer at various universities and regularly lectures throughout the UK and on cruise ships. She is also an accredited lecturer with the National Association of Fine Arts Societies

Anne is author of From the Medes to the Mullahs: a history of Iran and Paul of Tarsus: a first century radical.
