About the Author

Diane Hindman has been a Colorado resident for nearly 50 years and currently makes her home in Lakewood, along with her husband, Jim. Her children and grandchildren all live in the Denver Metro area as well. She and her husband are avid hikers and enjoy a variety of outdoor activities in addition to being on call for any and all requests from their grandchildren.

A graduate of Metropolitan State College with a Bachelors of Science Degree, she also attended Colorado State University where she acquired a MRS. (when she married Jim) and Red Rocks Community College, where she earned an Associate Degree. Now retired, Diane has had an opportunity to pursue other interests such as her lifelong passion for both poetry and photography. This book is the culmination of many years of writing and picture taking, merging those two genres.
