About the Author

Jimi Rodriguez is an author from Houston, TX. After graduating from The Ohio State University, he became a teacher in his hometown. He went on to obtain a Master's Degree from Ohio University. He lives in Houston with his wife and two children.

For years, he told his students stories of the characters in From Chaos Comes Order. The characters were a work of friendship, as many major roles in the story were conceived by his friends in writing and life. Finally, he created the series From Chaos Comes Order. Book One: Chaos is his debut novel. From Chaos Comes Order is planned to have four books in total. Book Two: Destroyer is coming soon!

Jimi Rodriguez wrote a story of a young man who goes from a young boy, through the ages to a powerful man. Along the way, he goes through pitfalls and normal things any man does, but mostly the story is about the life of this world the man lives in. I think it's one of the best sorts of origin stories I've read for a book like this because it isn't too detailed, but it is detailed enough. Jimi took his time and built up a world that is immersive, detailed, and believable.

I love a story with a magic academy. It makes me think back to the times when I waited for my Hogwarts Letter, which never came. It's ok. I survived. But now Jacob is faced with the decision...does he attend the story or stay and take care of his mother? Read this great book to find out.

The world-building is well written and realistic. The imagery that Jimi wrote really does pull you in. I wasn't able to take my eyes off the pages. You wouldn't regret reading this novel.
