From £20k to £2m in 6 years:: The diary of a normal guy who just worked hard at getting into property.......
When I first made the decision to put pen to paper (so to speak) it was purely for the reason that despite how much research I had completed online in regards to buying property, all I could find were people who "had made it." There didn't seem to be much out there that showed someone's actual journey, you know, the bits at the beginning that aren't very glamorous, the bits where you are stood on your own after collecting the keys for your first property and you literally are thinking "what the fuck do I do here?" The bits where you are sat trying to watch a you tube clip on how to drain a heating system and take off a radiator, and definitely the bits where you have spent 4 hours on the phone to a utility company trying to resolve a minor issue.

Property isn't actually as complex as the world would like you to think. You buy a house, fix it up, then either sell it or rent it out. Yup, that's someone's £1997 course right there! You're welcome!

Roll on 6 years and now I have a personal property portfolio of 25 units valued at over £2m with a net rental income of £8.7k per month! Add to this my related property businesses of sourcing, renovations and a lettings agency and you can see just how busy I've been in these last few years!

Property is hard work, ignore the "get rich quick" schemes out there.... instead, see how I progressed week on week, month on month, year on year.
