Every project in this title by crochet designer Sartori is an instantly recognizable keepsake for fans of the hit show Friends. Surrounding the projects' instructions are quotes and the context from the show. Skill levels are clearly labeled, from "Beginner" to "Expert," so users can find the project that suits them and their skills. Though perfect for crochets of various skill levels, more complex techniques like tapestry crocheting are sometimes used. The materials list is heavily detailed, so users will be able to obtain the accurate colors shown. Step-by-step pictures are not depicted, but the finished project is captured in exquisite detail. Abbreviations for stitches are used in instructions, and a brief glossary is provided for quick reference. There is no tutorial with basic stitches included, so beginners will want to keep a separate one handy. Crocheters will also need to be familiar with sewing basics to add fine details, especially with the amigurumi versions of the main characters.
