About the Author

Athena Dent has been a Writer for the past 42 years and an Award-Winning Author for the past 15+ years. This is her third book (Young Adult) in her series of various genres. As an Educator Mentor and Humanitarian, Mrs. Dent has devoted over 30 years of her life to the well-being of infants/children and adolescents (families, too). She decided to take her experience in counseling and servicing families in the Foster Care system and create this book, which is also 'Education Material'. Not only will this book appeal to young people (ages 13+), but also educators and parents.
Mrs. Dent has seen that through consistency, proper education, positive intervention and most of all....LOVE, a child CAN be better nurtured and prepared for life (especially, when a child ages out of the Foster Care system).
Mrs. Dent has a B.A. in Human Services (majoring in Psychology), years of medical training/practice (former Certified Nursing Assistant), a Certified Health Coach with over 45+ years of education and practice, substantial education/knowledge on child behavior and parenting. She is a wife and mother of two adult children.
