Foundations of Freedom: The Layman's Guide to the Philosophy of the American Founding
Power is a coveted thing. Those with power seek to expand their power, and those without power seek to gain power. Luckily for Americans, the Constitution—that almost 250-year-old document—stands as a buffer against individual power.

Today—perhaps more than ever, perhaps not—the Constitution is under attack. The best antidote to these attacks is knowledge—knowledge of what the Constitution does, how it does it, and why.

This book is not an academic book—that's not who I'm writing for. It's not full of stuffy, boring language and unnecessarily complex statements. This books is a plain, common-sense, clear explanation of the philosophy behind the Constitution.

You shouldn't have to have an advanced degree to understand the logic of the Constitution. It should be accessible by all—because it was written for all. That's what I'm aiming to protect, and that's what this book is for.
