Overview

"By forgiving ourselves and others, we unblock our capacity to give and to receive love. I understand all too well, how hardness of heart can make us impervious to love. I also know the joy and freedom that comes from being forgiven and forgiving. I have witnessed the fruit of forgiveness and healing in my own family and in hundreds of others over the years. I pray as you read, study, and pray through this book, that you will be set free to love and be loved to a depth you never knew before"
(Dr. Bob Schuchts, Ph.D., Founder of John Paul II Healing Center, Preface).
"Forgiveness is one of the most human experiences that can exist because it involves an inner journey to the deepest folds of our being. Forgiveness comes to represent the blessed opportunity to discover to what extent our inner self is capable of embracing truth and love, and, even more so, to what extent truth and love are what we most need.
In the personal diary of every human being, written or unwritten, there are many pages stained with tears and blood, with wounds inflicted and received, with one's own and others' guilt. Forgiveness embraces the extremes of human experience; forgiveness fills abysses, rebuilds bridges, overcomes distances, heals, repairs, and saves. Forgiveness can change an entire life. At least, try it!"
