Overview

There is no relationship as close and unique as that of identical twins, brothers or sisters who start their journey together in the same womb. But sometimes, the very nature of this relationship carries physical consequences as devastating as they are deadly. In her first book, Erin Bruch shares the powerful and heart wrenching story of how her most blessed event became her greatest trial when her unborn twins were diagnosed with a catastrophic placental imbalance called Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome. Presented along with the personal reflections of other mothers, you will explore the nature of this disease, current treatments, and the practical and emotional impact on families facing the diagnosis. It is a story of love, hope, inspiration, and self-empowerment in the face of great loss.

About the Author

ERIN BRUCH- Currently lives in Bethlehem, PA, married in 2004, and mother to two living children. She is the youngest of four children. She watched her loving parents growing up through her life trying to do the right thing, which gave her the moral foundation she has today.

After the dust settled from her twin pregnancy she decided to devote her life to helping other mothers cope with difficult pregnancies and the impact that the turmoil has on family relationships. She is a member of many support groups and online groups that help mothers deal with the assortment of emotions that come with the broad term “motherhood”.
