Overview

"Forever Damaged By Evil" is a compelling and unforgettable chronicle of one of the most severe cases of child abuse in Vancouver, British Columbia. It recounts the harrowing experiences of Tyra Angelina, a disabled child who suffered years of brutal beatings at the hands of her own grandmother. Despite her inability to speak due to her disability,

Tyra struggled to find a way to alert her mother to the abuse she was enduring. This tragic tale sheds light on the unimaginable betrayal inflicted by someone who should have been a source of love and protection.

Angelina's home was a place of unimaginable fear, unbeknownst to any of her family members. From elementary school to her first year of high school, she suffered daily abuse at the hands of her grandmother. Despite the outside world being unaware of her living nightmare, she was unable to confide in her mother and found herself resorting to desperate measures to gain attention, ultimately leading to self-harm and acts of violence towards others.

As you navigate through life's challenges, you will witness the courageous endurance of one who bears the pain of another, offering solace in their battles for survival. This powerful narrative will serve as an awakening to the realities of child abuse and our collective capacity to effect change.

About the Author

After overcoming a significant life-changing event, Anna Mardones has taken on the role of a mother to an abused child with disabilities. Since that fateful day, Anna has dedicated herself to extensive research on child abuse, particularly in cases involving children with disabilities.

This book marks her first published work, as she believed it would bring closure and healing. However, she realized that there is still much more to be done in addressing this issue. Her main priority now is to educate others on how easily they can overlook and ignore the signs of abuse.

In the future, Anna hopes to establish a system that would allow children with disabilities to seek help when they are unable to communicate. She eagerly looks forward to speaking publicly about her experiences in order to raise awareness and advocate for change.
